Video Transcript for Review of MOS Racks Lock For UpLift Load Assist - MR99ZV

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this lock for your MOS Uplift load assist. Now this lock is going to secure your MOS Uplift load assist to your roof rack crossbars and this U-shaped insert clamps into the slots on the base plate. So on your screen, I'm including a few pictures there just to give you an idea of how this is going to fit, in case you are unfamiliar with this. The first picture there at the top, you see the arrow pointing to that U-shaped insert. It's, as you can see, it's slid through there and then the bottom picture there kind of gives you a underneath view of what this is going to look like with the lock through that U-shaped insert, so hopefully that gives you a good idea of how this is going to work with your load assist, if you we inchesre unfamiliar with that.

Two keys are included. Let me just show you real quick how easy this is going to be. So this has a little cap on here that's going to protect that keyway. So it has a really nice, tight fit, which is good. So I'm just gonna open that up, take one of the keys here, insert it, and then give it a turn.

Then that's going to allow me to remove that and then you can remove that pin. The inside here has a pad there, so you're not gonna have to worry about this scratching up your load assist. And then this is just gonna run back through, and then I'm just going to turn the key. Now it's locked. I'll replace the cap here, so that keyway will stay free of moisture and debris.

So you're gonna get two keys as I mentioned, and this is stainless steel and it has a matte black finish. I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
